予定変更 - Change of plan

私をよく知っている人ならこの「予定変更」はもう聞き飽きているかも?!
いやいや、自分でもそれは十分承知ですが今回は私が決めたのではありません！
日本出発前日の今日急に派遣先変更のお知らせがありました。
南アは南アでもダーバンではなくてポート・エリザベスというところに行くらしい、私。

ここはダーバンよりは小さいがれっきとした海のリゾート地。
と言ってもアフリカだけに象の公園やら野生動物がみれるとこもあるらしい。
ダーバンより治安が良いらしいのでちょっと安心。
しかもダーバンではホテル暮らしになる予定で
「正直２～３ヶ月のホテル暮らしはきつい！」
と思っていたんだけど、こちらはホテルだけどキッチン付きのラウンジ付き。
めちゃめちゃ嬉しい。

写真は私のこれからの新居。
どうだ！と言わんばかりに丘の上。そして絶景。
毎日海がみれるなんて幸せ！

Those who know me must be tired of hearing me say, "there's been a change of plan."
Yeah yeah, I know...but this time, it wasn't me who changed it.
I received the news today, the day before my departure.
Apparently, I'm going to Port Elizabeth, not Durban.

P.E. is smaller than Durban, but it's still one of the best beach resorts in S.A.
Of course, you can still see wild animals or visit elephant park... It's Africa after all.
The good thing is that the security is much better than Durban.

In Durban, I was supposed to stay at a normal hotel,
and frankly, the idea of staying at a hotel for 2-3 months was already driving me mad.
But in P.E., I'll still stay at a hotel, but the room will have a kichinette and a lounge area.
That's much better!
