テレビ出ます。

いきなりですが、今日ＮＨＫ ＢＳ１のＷ杯特集番組に出ます。
１３時～２３時５０分までず～っと生放送！
出演予定は１６時～１７時の間で、
スカイプのビデオ中継で現地の様子を話します。
こちらは短くて、多分５分くらい。

そして明日２３日、同じくＮＨＫ ＢＳ１の「地球アゴラ」も。
２２時～２２時４９分の放送で、どのタイミングかは
まだ分かりませんが。。。
こちらもスカイプ中継と、先日行ったジョージのレポート！
中継も日本代表が宿泊する部屋からですよ～。

テレビに出るのは初めてなのでキンチョ～～～！ですが
頑張ってレポートするのでＮＨＫ ＢＳが見れてお時間のある方は

insomnia?? 不眠症??

just a short note while my brain is refusing to rest...

It's been an adventurous and fun week!
Went to George, once again, on Sunday and Monday
for a film shoot. I was in front of the camera for a change!
City of George is making a great effort to welcome the Samurai Blue!
The streets are full of Japanese flags and officials are learning
Japanese language and culture.
I checked out the culture lesson and it was really interesting to see
the officials (some in police uniforms) trying to pick raw rice grains
with slippery Chinese plastic chopsticks... That's quite difficult!

Then went off to Nkowa Nkowa, near Tzaneen in Limpopo.
There I was back to behind the scene.
We followed the team of Soccer Cinema who are currently
traveling around the country, showing soccer-related films
in towns and villages where there are no cinemas.
Was a pity I couldn't enjoy the films as I was busy running around...
And there I met the famous granny soccer teams.
Apparently their games are quite slow, and there's more chatting
than kicking and running...but how cute!
Totally fell in love with them.

Thanks to the greedy owner of the hotel who didn't let us cancel
one night and stay near Polokwane airport to spare early-morning
drive, we had to get up at 3am and drive at 20km/h in darkness
with heavy fog with the possibility of encountering suicidal cows,
owls, and guinea fowls on the road.

Oh well, I'm back in one piece and despite the harsh winter weather,
I'm glad to be back in the Mother City!


脳が休んでくれないのでブログ。。。

冒険いっぱいの楽しい１週間だった。
日曜と月曜はテレビの撮影でまたまたジョージに行った。
今回はいつもと違ってカメラの前側！
ジョージ市では日本代表の受け入れにすごく力を入れている。
道には日の丸が並び、市の職員は日本文化と日本語の
勉強もしてる。日本文化のクラスを覗いたら、ツルツルの
プラスティックのお箸で生米を掴む練習してた。それは難しいだろ！

そしてリンポポ州のンコワ・ンコワという村へ。
ここではいつものポジション。裏方で。
今南アフリカ中の映画館がない村や町で
サッカー関連の映画を上映して回っているサッカー・シネマの
チームを取材。仕事中だったから映画を楽しめなくて残念。
そこで噂のおばあちゃんサッカーチームと出会った。
彼女たちの試合は、とてもゆっくりで、ボールを蹴ったり
走ったりするよりおしゃべりに夢中になってしまうんだって。
何てかわいらしいおばあちゃんたち。素敵すぎる。

最終日の朝、慣れない道での早朝の運転を避けるため
ポロクワネ（リンポポ州の州都）空港近くに泊まろうと思い
ホテルを１泊キャンセルしたかったのに、オーナーに断られ、
結局朝３時に起きて真っ暗で霧の深い山道を時速２０キロで
走った。途中牛やらフクロウやらホロホロ鳥にぶつからないよう、
山道から落ちないよう、ゆっくりと。怖かった～。

とにかく無事に帰ってこれて良かった。
ケープタウンはすっかり冬で外は冷たい嵐だけど
やっぱり家はいい。
